United Way has a lengthy tradition since 1961, throughout the North Okanagan Columbia Shuswap, of putting communities first, of nurturing children and youth, of helping families in crisis, reaching out to seniors and those with disabilities to ensure they remain a vital sector in the community - helping those who need it most.

We assess and address the needs of the community every year and decisions are made locally about the distribution of campaign funds.  Campaign dollars raised in the North Okanagan Columbia Shuswap by individuals, employee groups and corporations stay in the North Okanagan Columbia Shuswap.  Because we live here!
