Informal 2 hour weekly drop-in offered 3 times a year, support group for moms ( parents) and new babies (up to 12 months).  Various health topics ranging from nutritional requirements to infant massage to safety and childhood illness.  Baby Talk is an informative, social outing for new parents, their babies and toddlers.  Come and socialize with other new parents while gaining information and resources for you and your family. Baby Talk is a series of 8-10 presentations, which rotate throughout the year.  You are welcome to attend any or all sessions as many times as you like.

A,B,C & Gym 2,3 ages 3-5 years  While participating in gym activities, your child will be introduced to numbers, letters, colours, shapes, circle, stories, and much much more.

Family Daycare Drop-in  Ages 7 months - 6 years - This is a special drop-in program for group and Family Daycare providers that would like to bring their kids over to play at our "house".  Gym equipment will be set up by our Playschool staff for your kids to use and enjoy.  The kids take part in free-play gym activities, parachute games, and snack time (provided by the day-care) and circle time.   It's a chance for them to play and interact with others their own size and chance for you to network with other Daycare providers.   All sessions are held in our Dogwood Playschool Activity Centre.

Creative Gym - ages 18 months -3years   Parent participation program for you and your child involving gym activities, songs, simple games, pasting, table toys, play dough, and much more.  All classes are held in our Dogwood Playschool Activity Centre

Creepers - Crawlers - ages 7 - 18 months (Parent & tot) This class will enable you and your "little" one to meet new friends, sing simple songs and play games and enjoy free-play gym activities (mats, slide, etc).  Play balls, hoops and more, all in our Dogwood Playschool Activity Centre.

Kidnastics - ages 3-6 years  Your child will be introduced to the basic skills of tumbling, creative movement and rhythmics.  Forward and backward rolls, teddy bear stand, cartwheels, climbing, balance, and a lot more.  All sessions are held in our Playschool Activity Centre with a Level 1 Certified Gymnastics Instructor

Little Rascals - 2.5 to 4 years   This is a chance to leave your child with us,  Let them gain some independence while you have some time to yourself.  Play time in the gym for your rambunctious L'il Rascal who loves to romp on gym equipment, play games, sing or paint.  Includes circle and more. Parents do not have to stay.

Pee Wees - 3 to 2.5 years  This is a chance for your child to explore and play without Mom & Dad.  Come and discover all the wonderful activities that your child can participate in, within a gym setting.

Play, Putter & Splash or Swim Lesson - 3.5 to 6 years  This is a fun filled program with gym activities, games, songs, pasting, painting and stories.  All finished off with either a splash in the pool with our Playschool Instructor, or take part in a Red Cross Swim Lesson with a certified Red Cross Instructor.

Sports for Shorts  3-5 years Try out a variety of sports and games including soccer, floor hockey, ringette, broomball, soft lacrosse, basketball, and more all in fun non-competitive environment.  Bring your runners.

Toonie & Loonie Drop-In 7 months -6years  This is a value priced drop-in program for you and your child.  Enjoy free play gym activities, sing songs and meet kids you own size!  Parent(s) with kids under 3 years are required to stay.  Kids 3 years and older can stay and play while Mom or Dad run errands.

Birthday Party with Parks & Recreation - This is a great way to celebrate your child's special day.  You provide the kids; food, beverages and the goody bags and we do all the rest.  We hold over 100 parties a year

We provide the place, equipment, materials, staff and fun & games.  All activites are age appropriate and when the party is over, you go home and we stay and clean up.  Our parties now feature helium balloons and can even order the cake from Tim Horton's

Three party options are available.  2 hour Gym party, 2 hour Swim party, super combo 3 hour gym and swim party.  Parties can be booked Saturdays and Sundays year round and come with the following bonuses:

- fun for up to 16 children, great Playschool staff person, Assisted supervision, Organized games and activities, Great facilities, Happy Birthday Banner, Decorated tables and chairs, plates and cups, cutlery and napkins, serving bowls, helium balloons, birthday letter and no clean up.
